WIndow Podcast
The podcast episode is nearly done! We will post all of these to our website. Who has an idea for a 'good spot' for the link to go? What should it look like? Look on the parish and school website and make some recommendation - in the form of a post!

Stained Glass Windows
This podcast will enable you to be tour guides! Visitors to our church, St. Wencelaus, would love to know more about the stained glass windows. You will be describing what the windows on the east side of church mean - specifically the circles on top. You might want to include more information - such as- where the window is (the first, fifth, etc). Also, what saints are on the window you are describing? Include this as well. The windows on the east side of church were made in America (if memory serves me right). The windows contain symbols that describe our Apostle's Creed beliefs. Please add some music - either compose your own in GarageBand, or use some of the jingles found in the program as you create your second podcast. ALL OF THESE PODCASTS will be posted to our school/church website, to enable virtual visitors a peek into our church and its history. You are providing a valuable service to our website - making it more interactive!
For this podcast, you will need to write/create a script. You may use the file in the Podcast server folder as a starting point. This needs to be done before you start in GarageBand.

Which episodes to post?
Now that we have one episode completed, it is time to look at what we've accomplished, and think ahead.
Next week we will work on an episode that describes some of the stained glass windows in our church - specifically the top portion of the ones on the east side, which symbolize our creed.
Comment to this post regarding
1. What has been challenging during class
2. What has been exciting, new
3. Have you thought about topics for future episodes?
Happy Thanksgiving!

Nearly done with our first episode!
we are nearly done with our first episode. Remember:
1. voice
2. music
3. pictures (find from link on this blog)
You can add a web link to a picture.
Don't forget about adding album artwork, so your viewers can see this as they watch. Use a picture that is square. You may create one and bring in. I have some instructions for this.
Now that we are nearly done with the first episode, we will begin next one - describing stained glass windows found in St. Wenceslaus Church (don't worry - I have the script for you!!) BUT, I need you to start thinking about topics for other episodes. Talk this over with your partner. I am confident you will come up with some ideas. Write these down. We will discuss this next week.

1st Day
I am trying to get my homework done by 6 PM! Keep getting interrupted in my classroom! Yikes! Anyway, the websites to go to for our poem and the pictures to go with it:
If you change your mind about group members, let me know. Bring in your syllabus on or before November 18- a week from Wednesday. The sooner we create our groups and get through some of the other tutorials, the faster we will get this show on the road.

The start of something new!!!
Our podcasting class this year will have ability to blog. Wanting to get some things set up before class begins in November, as it will be here before I know it. I am excited for this new class, but also feeling enormous responsibility for safety. We will work together as a team.
